The Mayor will provide opening remarks as he joins Women Against Abuse Executive Director & President Jeannine L. Lisitski and Director of Public Policy Elise Scioscia at this press conference for Women Against Abuse’s iPledge Campaign. Launched in 2008, the mission of iPledge is to inform city residents about the ways in which they can have a meaningful impact in shaping attitudes about domestic violence in Philadelphia.

6:00 PM Mayor Kenney to Attend Pink Sister Chronicles Breast Cancer Survivors Gala
The Mayor will attend this fundraiser and book release gala hosted by Traci’s BIO for ‘The Pink Sisters Chronicles’ which shared the stories of 11 women who are Breast Cancer survivors.

6:30 PM Mayor Kenney to Attend Ribbon Cutting for Grays Ferry Police Athletic League Center
The Mayor, PAL Executive Director Ted Qualli and PAL Commanding Officer Lt. Evelyn Cintron will all help open this center serving the Gray’s Ferry neighborhood.
